How Long Does It Take to Become a Morning Person?

Do you really need to be a morning person? Well, Two groups of people among us. One group believes that they don’t need to be an early riser to become more productive.

On the other hand, another group strongly believes in early rising from bed as it does lead to overall productive habits.

But the truth is that once you find the goal and success, you will love waking up and don’t hit the snooze button. Like many, you may be a bleary-eyed and snooze button pusher or even a morning hater, if you can transform into a morning person, the results are visible.

It only your mindset that sets the context of how you start your day.  Who does not want to get a happy, healthy, and successful life? I guess, everyone wants these.

No matter where is our life at this moment, the most common thing that we all have is to improve our lives full of happiness and success.

People don’t get them just because of in disciple life of actions. Being a morning person builds your day and makes you self-disciplined.

What are the Benefits of Being a Morning Person?

  • Speaking from my personal experiences, it changes your mentality. If you put it in your mind that you are going to bed earlier definitely you will wake up earlier also.
  • It increases the strong feeling of absolute productivity. Because you have a greater chance to start your day before others waking up and see the morning.
  • Having a great sense of accomplishment, a well-grounded mind and strength and the confidence to do more will come gradually.

Is it really hard to become a morning person? Not at all. In this process, you must face some challenges according to Hal Elrod. You might have been incorporated to undergo a change between your body and mind. These challenges you have to deal with.

Can You Really Become a Morning Person?

It wouldn’t happen overnight. You must face some challenges in the beginning period. Of course your good deeds, intentions and building regular habits will be a great matter of act. Here are some common changes of habit you must undergo.

  • Waking up earlier is a bit like trying a new balanced diet. You know, it’s easy for the beginner to pump up their muscles which could be a great motivation for today but might not be for tomorrow.
  • As well all know, good intentions fly out the window. Your daily motivation may go down into hibernation. Hence, you must be geared up every day.

Minute 1: Set your intentions before bed-

Your success to be a morning person largely depends on this key factor. Because your first thought in the morning becomes the last thought you had before you went to the bed, said Hal Elrod.

For example, you will open your eyes and ready to jump of bed as well as embrace your day, once you have a big vacation or excited to get up early. Why? It’s because of the last thought you had in mind before going to the bed.

So the first step in minute one to consciously decide every night to actively and mindfully create a positive expectation for the next morning.

Minute two: Walk across the room to turn off the alam-

Another effective strategy that forces you to get out of the bed and engage your body in movement. Can you guess it? Yes, you are thinking about moving the alarm clock across the room.

This step creates motion which turns into energy. But what if your alarm clock next to your bed, are you going to snooze it or jump of bed? It depends on your intentions or mind.

Minute three: Brush your teeth-

Sink to brush your teeth once you have gotten out of bed and turn off the alarm clock. Splash some water on your face. This way you can increase your wakeup motivation level.

Doing this helps you to establish a routine and clears the bacteria that has been growing in the mouth overnight.

Minute four: Drink a Full Glass of Water-

Your mouth is fresh now. Right? Now the time to drink a full glass of water. Does it in every morning?  After 6 to 8 hours of sleep without water, you will be dehydrated that causes fatigue.

The results of hydrating you with freshwater give younger-looking skin even it maintains a healthy weight.

Minute five: Get dressed or jump in the shower-

Hal Elrod, this step has two options. One option is to get dress in your exercise clothes, so that you are ready for exercise. The second option it to jump in the shower after the workout. It helps you to start a fresh day.

Conclusion-

The five minutes’ strategies helped so many people to reach their goals. Many of them found it complicated to become a morning person but was easy for a great number of people also.

It just needs focus and grit. Finally, commitment is vital to break the old habits and build the new transformation process.  It requires step by step strategy to increase your motivation and a predetermined mindset. Don’t wait for too much to apply these habits.
